National Australia Bank started operations in Japan in 1969 when it opened a representative office in Tokyo. A branch was opened in 1985 and since then we have gone forward to provide extensive services embracing the notion of 'service to our valued customers'.
In 1994 the branch merged with the Bank of New Zealand's Tokyo branch after the Bank of New Zealand joined the National Australia Bank group. This has enabled us to provide an even wider range of financial services relating to Australia and New Zealand.
